 Cowboys | Thu, 9/4 2:38 pm | CAMP UPDATE: The disappointment in Texas was palpable after the Cowboys lost to the Giants in the divisional round of the playoffs. So much so that Terrell Owens openly wept in front of the media in defense of his quarterback, Tony Romo. Still, the 'Boys are back in '08, and should be among the favorites in the NFC. Romo and Owens are the keys, but TE Jason Witten and RB Marion Barber will get their share of the offensive workload as well. Patrick Crayton will likely start at the other WR position as it looks like Terry Glenn's days in Big D are over. The real thing to watch in the preseason for this club is their revamped defense. They've added an aging LB in Zach Thomas and a troubled CB in Adam Jones, but the club has the makings of an elite unit. |
