Imagine a team full of guys who just barely compete in their Sunday League. These are guys that like football, but they won’t be confused with the English national team anytime soon. Now imagine someone told you that this team went up against a bunch of English legends in a big time game. Your reaction, if you are being honest with yourself, would be to expect this team to get crushed. That is not what happened in the Nivea Great Football Experiment, though. Nivea was involved in this experiment and the company made all the difference, giving one group the legitimate chance to compete.

This Great Football Experiment was pretty simple in all actuality. It was an experiment that was designed to see just how powerful the right preparation actually can be. Nivea took a bunch of applications from Sunday League teams across Europe. Though it was difficult to narrow things down, Nivea eventually settled on Ivory, F.C., a club that came out of Essex. This club started off without many expectations, but Nivea stepped in to provide the type of resources and the type of preparation necessary to absolutely transform the team into something worth respecting.

Nivea set up Ivory, F.C. with some great coaches to begin with. The company knows that without the right preparation, no team and no business can run properly. This is why Ray Wilkins and Terry Venables were so important to the process. Those two men stepped in to provide a tremendous amount of support for the team. The two coaches were instrumental in preparing the team both physically and mentally. They transformed Ivory into a team that could actually compete with the best in the game. At the end of it all, Ivory was put up against a team of legends, meaning that they got a chance to prove their worth.

In the end, this experiment came out a good one. Ivory took down the bunch of English football legends by a score of two to one, taking a close match with their good skills and newfound physical stamina. There was truly no substitute for Nivea in this experiment.

What does it take for a team of young men to achieve the ultimate football dream of greatness?  Hours upon hours of training, a spirit of undefeatable hope, and the right preparation! Nivea gets to make this dream come true and to inspire greatness in one lucky team, the Ivory FC. From the right instruction, to the right outfits, to the right products, this team gets to learn firsthand just how the right preparation can make the difference between being good or being great.

The Ivory FC will receive training by some of the top FA and England coaches and household names like Terry Venables, Ray Wilkins and Ray Clemence. In addition, they will have support from top physiotherapists, advice from knowledgeable nutritionists, new superior quality Umbro kits and Nivea products to help keep their skin healthy and hydrated during their rigorous training. As each man on this team prepares to live their ultimate football team, to face off a team of England legends on the field, they will go on an exhilarating journey of mental and physical transformation, and learn on this ultimate adventure just what it takes to be a success.

It certainly takes skill, but lasting achievement comes from the right set of mind, and knowing that one has done everything and given their all to reaching their goal. From the right exercise to the right body care like the use of Nivea to keep skin from drying out, painfully cracking, looking washed-out or being itchy. It’s the last thing to want to deal with when pursuing one’s goals of greatness and it is certainly no excuse for underachievement!

There are no shortcuts or quick-fixes to right preparation and the journey is not for the faint of heart, but in the end the victory for those who stuck it out is sweet, and the lifetime achievement award goes not only to those who score the highest goals, but to those who decide to take the journey, put in the hard work of right preparation, make it to the field and give their best while out there.

First things first.  Back in the day, windsurfing used to be extremely difficult to learn and there was a high level of frustration among novices looking to break into this incredible water sports activity.  Boards were super narrow and tipped very easily.  After a day spent mostly in the water, rather than on top of it, most beginners despised the experience and would be hard pressed to get back out there and try again.

Today, getting into windsurfing and truly enjoying it is easier than ever.  This is due, in part, to a significant change in equipment design.  The boards are much wider and easier to navigate for the newcomer.  This allows for more time spent handling the sail and getting a feel for how the board moves in the water.  On top of that, top quality windsurfing schools are popping up around the globe and are the perfect launching pad for the person eager to jump into windsurfing headfirst.  There are a couple of things to consider before embarking on your first windsurfing lessons.
